Crimson roses fell from the sky when our eyes met, Covering our feet in a red blanket only lovers could see and today, today we saw.
There I was, Losing myself in two brown sunsets with a ring of green trying to remind me to always keep my feet planted.
That eloquent curve of lip spread across your face.
I remember wanting to press my curves against yours to see if the colors matched.
So I did. They blended perfectly. Melted together and became glued, stuck, one.
You were mine in those moments and it took a sea of roses floating on ground for me to see what you meant to me.
